A little bird told me.....

...that Lori over at HumbleQuilts was asking people to post their progress on the quiltalong on our blogs. If you remember this post, I am calling my quilt Pumpkin Fields instead of Strawberry Fields because of my fabric choices. I must confess that with all my stitching lately, this has been sadly neglected. I will hopefully get to it again this week when my latest UFO project is finished. After all, I have a fob again ready and waiting to give away when this has been finished. *grins*

It is the busy season for birds and I finished my third part of the SoloBrode SAL last week containing five sweet little tweets added to the design. This project stitches up so quickly that I find myself longing for the next part of the SAL constantly. Not like I don't have anything else to work on! *wink*

Are you having a creative Sunday? Back to my UFO stitching.....

not much creative going on here today - Gavin spent the night and was here for breakfast, My inlaws and stepson and his wife were here for lunch.
the rest of my children will be here for supper as this is Nina's birthday -

I am very hopeful that the rest of this week will be less busy and I can do some stitching. I got a big bundle of very nice fabric at an estate sale yesterday

The Pumpkin Fields look wonderful and cozy with those colors! I love to watch a local field where they plant pumpkins nearly every year. Glad you played along. My quiltalong project is only a top so far.

The little birdies are adorable. I can see why you are eager for each new part!

Heidi, your quilt is lovely as usual. The colors are wonderful and make me think " Fall " Your SAL is coming along nicely, I love the birds. I have baby birds nesting in my garden, as well as a whole flock living in my trees. Every morning as soon as the sun comes up the convention begins and we all begin our day with bird song. My weekend was busy but I did manage to cross-stitch on a sampler for a little while. Have a good week my friend, hugs from CA.
