Shall we dance???

Yes, it is that time again! While I should be getting that slideshow put together of my Christmas in July party I had for my quilt group, instead I am sitting stitching away to get another finish. And here it is.....

This Quaker sampler really reminds me of autumn which is my favorite season. I did the sampler in autumn tones of browns and beiges.

I am showing it as finished even though it is not yet framed. This one is going to be a puzzle to find a frame for. It is 13cm x 44cm so any of my Dutch readers who could give me a tip of a shop with a very long skinny frame would be greatly appreciated. *grins*

I decided to go back to the blog post where I showed you that I was getting back to this project for my next finish. I entered the comments to find a winner......

.....and Jantine's number came up. Please contact me with your address Jantine so I can send you this autumn themed scissor fob. I hope you will enjoy using it!

Beautiful finish! Keep us posted if you find a place that has long, skinny frames lol. I have a Quaker Sampler of my own that needs framing too.

I was thinking of IKEA who used to have frames to put three pictures beside each other, but am not sure about the size.
And the I read on... did I really win? I love scissor fobs and autumn colors are my favorites! So you will understand how happy I am!

Great job! I love the look of the Quaker samplers, but fear miscounting with all that white space. Is it a problem for you?

Like your finish, and I was thinking of Ikea too. But maybe Xenos or action have them too.
I keep on thinking what to make for my secret sister. It's for December I know, but want to make a jump start.
Any ideas??
are you free next Wednesday or Thursday for our play date?

It's lovely, Heidi!
I was able to 'frame' a long piece like that under the glass of a tray. It worked very well - perhaps you could find such a tray in an antique shop or thrift store.

What a lovely piece this is - so you Heidi. I think I remember you working on it when we were at Annemarie's last year.
