Flying about.....

A quick blog post before I go out the door...

Yes, I am flying about but wanted to show you what I am working now. I was going through a drawer in my desk in the studio. I have decided to sort charts and sell those that I do not really love. I like them all but am being strict with myself. I found a couple of my UFOs and decided that this one will be this week's finish. It is close to being done. I started this back in 2006 (I think) while I was on vacation. When we came home, it got set aside. I hope to finish it over the weekend.

As the giveaway winner did not ever get to me, I have decided I am going to draw a new name for this fob. I used the comments from the entry where I revealed my Eliza Jane doll quilt. Thank you all for your wonderful comments about my quilting and stitching.

The winner of the fob is...

Congratulations Jo! Please contact me with your address so I can mail this to you.

Don't be too strict with yourself! Stash doesn't hurt anyone.....

Enjoy your day. The WIP you found is pretty. Love the green.

Oh what a pretty piece Heidi. Yep, a finish is close! Love your color.

Ah, stash is good. I just let it pile up and every once in a while go by and leaf through them all.

Isn't it fun to find a forgotten treasure tucked away! It is very pretty. Are the colors shades of blue or silvery gray? I can't tell. Sometimes wee need to clear out just to see what we have.

Your piece is so pretty! I love that color.

I have way to much stash too and some that don't fit my tastes that have changed over the years, but whenever I think about selling them, I seem to back out! Somedays I just enjoy sitting and looking at them.

I love your WIP. The design and color are so pretty. I should be hearing happy dancing soon from Holland:) I too have alot of charts etc. but the problem with me is I am too sentimental... I keep telling myself that maybe someday....grins....Anyway I love to spend a quiet afternoon going through it all. Have a fun weekend finishing your project. Hugs from CA.

Hello Heidi,
Thanks for checking out my blog and the comments. I look forward to getting out my Christmas ornaments out every year. I have recently been inspired by some of the blogs that I have been reading about stitching themes. Next year maybe I will focus on Halloween ornies or patriotic ones. I have not decided yet.

Have a nice Sunday
Chris
