Cute, cute, cute!

That is about all that needs to be said about these sweet little Sint motifs! I just cannot believe that a piece of wrapping paper is leading to a fun new project. I worked on the motifs over the weekend at Cranberry Cottage. We finally were able to go up there after missing three weekends in a row due to working on our new floor. You can catch a glimpse of it here and my next few sets of coasters will also be given away on that blog this week.

I am finishing a last motif which is not on the wrapping paper (more about that soon) and I will be starting on the finish. That sounds funny, doesn't it? Starting a finish. I hope to share it with you this week.

Being away this weekend was great for a couple of reasons...

...I could forget the boxes
....We got to go to our favorite restaurant again which was delicious
.....Enjoyed a wood fire and stitching
......I could forget that tomorrow I have to go to the oral surgeon...UUGGHH!

The winners of this round's giveaway are Martine and Corry. Can you both please email me with your address so I can get your coasters in the mail to you this week?

Thanks to all who tried again this week for the giveaway. I am going to make two new sets to give away by the end of the week so try again then. And in the meantime, keep your fingers crossed for me with this infected tooth???

Very cute. It doesn't take much to set you on a mission. Tell that Dentist he better treat you right. I hope they send you off to happy land and take that tooth out.
I got my cute snowmen coasters and will post them one day this coming week. I also got a very cute little witch. Thank you Miss Pickles, you are such a good elf.
Love you, Mom

Best of luck with your dental...that is for sure one thing I dread. (having just gotten two new crowns)
I think I told you I received the coasters...they are perfect! Thank you again for my win.

Those are adorable, and I love the idea that the inspiration was something that is usually discarded very quickly.
Good luck at the dentist! I'll be there on Friday, for a crown - hate the thought, but will love the result, I know!

Heidi,
These little tags are a real delight. It's just incredible where inspiration can be found :>)
Can't wait to see the surprise one.
It must have felt like heaven getting back to your cosy cottage after such a long time away.
Hope all goes well with the dentist trip. Will be thinking of you.
Hugs Angela

Hi Heidi,

Bad luck again at the surgeon's, unbelievable! Grrrrr, send him to me and grrrr ...
Yes, I adapted my background this afternoon, I liked this one too!
And as you already had the other one, I thought: I'll show something else ;)))

I hope your dental problems will be over soon. I am recovering quickly, even worked today. But it is/was a very nasty kind of flu! Lost 3 kilo's, which wasn't bad in a way :) Couldn't master the 'Amersfoortse Berg' by bike though :(
Valérie is having it now, poor girl, she came home ill this afternoon.

Have a good evening & hugs, Carolien

Yep, love Sinterklaas.
So what are you making those little motifs into??
busy day for me today, even had to go away this evening. So Rover wasn't pleased. Guess where he is right now... yep right beside me on the sofa. But a sheet on the couch, and before I could say anything he was right beside me.
I know who is going to say i'm spoiling him.. Yeah Mum/Dad I hear you
Hugs Saskia

I love the Sint Motif's! It's so hard here in the USA to find Sind products, but I did manage. So I am trying to get all ready for Saint Nicholas here. I also promised our church I would bake several dozens of cookies (Sint shaped speculaas) for the advent/ Saint Nicholas party.
In the mean time, I am back to embroidery, at least until the next little one is born in february.
I have to say how lovely I think the cross stitch in your header is. Is that a lavender and lace angel?
