I stitched up a little gift for the owner of the B&B where we will be staying in The Alsace in France. The name of her B&B is Ambiance Jardin.

Autumn and winter gardens.....
You can find me stitching in an autumn garden this week and not blogging. I am off for a short vacation. We are leaving soon to pick up Saskia and will be meeting two other quilting friends when we get there. We are also starting on another BRD SAL. This time Jeanne is joining us for this stroll around a winter garden as we stitch Baby It's Cold Outside. Here is my choice of linen and thread. I am stitching this 1 over 1 on 28 count linen.

Have a great time at Ste Marie aux mines, lucky Heidi !!!
Enjoy your break and all the stitching that will get done~! The present is lovely, what a nice gesture!
I'm sure you're going to have a fantastic time! It sounds like loads of fun.
have a nice time in France! It's wise to take some time off, just before the moving house period.
have fun too.
What a lovely, personal present! Enjoy your time in France. Wishing you a lot of stitching fun and a lot of laughther (and with Saskia nearby, that will be no problem!)
Hoi Heidi,
heb een heerlijke tijd in Frankrijk, ga nu even bijlezen op je blog.
Tot gauw,hugs Ingrid.
Have a wonderful time in France! Spend time with good friends, rest, stitch and eat wonderful food.
Have the BEST time, Heidi!!
I will certainly miss you this week, since I was away and missed talking to you while in Arizona, due to the time difference.
I love the new stitch you are starting.
The watering can is such a perfect gift for the collector. Bet she will love it and the stitched name. Oh, she might like the candy too. LOL.
Love you, Mom
I wish I could join you...have fun.
Have a great time!
You and the girls have just the best time. That will be a fun piece for your SAL...hugs, Linda
Fabulous present!
Have a great time, looking forward to seeing your BRD when you get back
Lovely present! And thank you also for my amazin scissor fob - I love it!
Have a wonderful and relaxing visit!
Joan
What a beautiful present! I love your crocheting, too. My friend crocheted some dish cloths for me but they're too pretty to use as such--instead, I'm using them as 'coasters' for my jar candles.
Hope you had a great time away!
I hope you had a lovely time, Heidi. I clicked on the link and saw that you are staying in an area with which I am as familiar as I am with this Island. For years we lived in Lahr-Schwarzwald, just across the river, and spent most Saturdays and Sundays in the Alsace, where we shopped and played.
I really love the scissor picture on your header but did you know that one of them appears to be bent? France would be a long way for me to travel but I'd sure like to. My great-great-great grandfather came from Alsace-Lorraine. His first name was Napoleon but last name was not Bonaparte! Fun to see your blog.
I hope you had a great vacation. I love using the project bag you made for me. It is just the right size for my LHD monthly series. Can't wait to see pictures of the garden.
Sweet Heidi, it has been so long since I stopped by to see you and I am sorry. Because look at all I have been missing! :)
Congratulations on all your gorgeous work: the eating worms cross-stich is FANTASTIC!!!
Hoping you had a lovely time in France!
and I still owe you guys english high tea, can't wait!
