First a cup of coffee and something sweet to get us started...
After we finished our strawberry cream cakes, we put our finished pillows together for a photo and then started stitching the next one...
This is Rover who is a special someone in Saskia's life. He spent the day in the quilt studio watching over us...
We do pause for lunch of course! We have a theme each time we get together. We bring something to eat based on that theme. But doesn't the table look bare???
This time Saskia choose the theme of tapas (appetizers). We were supposed to make things along the idea of a tapas using meat for one, vegetable for a second and our own choice for the third. Here is my meat tapas which you can find the recipe for on my new food and book blog by clicking on BookshelvesAndStoveTops...
It was a fabulously fun day Bep and Saskia and I am already looking forward to the next one!
P.S. - Don't forget to become a follower of my new blog to keep up with my recipes and book reviews.
I miss your fabulous parties, Heidi! (And you, too, of course!!)
Everything looks so inviting. And yummy too.
I love the pillows you ladies are doing for your SAL. They are all fabulous!
I am very jealous, I wanna be there too. That food looks so yummy. Great job all three of you. I bet Dagi was in hiding though, with Rover there. Glad you had a fun day and love the pillows with the spools in between.
Love you, Mom
PS: Tell those girls one of these days I will crash the party since I know they both speak English.
Is there a pattern for these pillows? I love this project!!!
It's always nice to get together with friends-especially those who share a love for some of the same things. The food looks delicious, it has made me hungry.
Wonderful! Food, fun and friendship..nothing better!
What pretty decorations you all are making - so cute! The table looks very enticing too and it seems a great time was had by the 3 of you. Hobbies, friends, and good food, life is good. :)
I love the new SAL you are working on
and you table looks lovely and very tempting!
Off to look at your food and book blog now :-)
What a great way to display your Christmas pillows!
I am glad you had a fun day together! The tapas looks yummie and I bet it was. The ornaments are very pretty. The little spools are so cut too!
Have a great weekend & hugs, Carolien
Wat ziet je blog er gezellig en smakelijk uit, gelukkig zijn er nog meer SALdagen in het verschiet.
Ik kan niet wachten!!!!
Liefs en hugs Bep,
Yummy! Love the SAL stitching of you ladies.
What a wonderful scarve you added to your collection. I tried one big flower with the wool intended, but it was to thick. So I made a babyblanket instead (not that I needed one :-))
But love these flowers too!!
I so like your christmas trees ! and the food seems so
I loved the red and white SAL and the accompanying strawberry cakes - beautifully coordinated!
I love the trees! Your table looks so inviting as well!
