I had Christmas on my mind today. I was thinking about decorating for the holidays in our new home. I was also thinking back on the wonderful snow we had last winter and already dreaming of a white Christmas. *grins*
We are going into the home stretch of our SAL. I promise we will show them again together when they are finished to show you the sizes again. Saskia is making her 2/2 and mine is 1/1.

It looks lovely Heidi.....but I dont want to think about Christmas just yet!
Your peppermint twist is looking lovely Heidi and I like the one that heads your blog.
I must admit I prefer the other seasons to the winter especially if it is has cold again this year as last. My old bones don't like the cold.

Hazel (UK)
Beautiful progress on this great design.
Lovely progress. It looks so delicate over 1.
PT looks great Heidi:-)
It already feels like its heading towards winter here in the UK, my water bottle is once again coming to bed with me at night, lol.
Peppermint twist is beautiful! I am not looking forward to Christmas yet but I wouldn't mind the cold weather.
This is beautiful. It looks so nice over 1. I guess I will pull this out and put in my to-do pile. Thinking about Christmas sure makes it a bit cooler. :)
It's gorgeous! I can't wait to see the 2 side by side.
If I work on Christmas projects, will it make it feel cooler?!
Heidi Christmas in your new home is going to be so exciting. You will be just like a little girl,, full of awe and wonder :>) No wonder stitching your Peppermint twist feels so right!
It's coming along beautifully and such a nice splash of colour now when we are still in the height of summer and everything is looking a little dry.
Hugs Angela xx
Beautiful work. Love your needlebooks too!!
I've been sewing for Christmas myself! I'm not ready for the snow though or the thoughts of reindeer but the peppermint candy cane looks divine!
It's looking great! While I'm not looking forward to winter, I have started my Christmas shopping.
Whowww, such wise words!! But I am pretending I didn't read them hihi!! There is a season, turn, turn, turn .... before you know it it will be snowing hihi! Lovely pattern and the Grand Marq. is done beautifully!! happy stitching, Daniƫlle
Looks so beautiful. And I'm very curious to see both your stitched pieces together to see the dufference between over one and over two.
I know you love snow. I don't but in spite of this I'm reading a mystery set in the middle of the winter in the mountains of Colorado. And it's so cold and snowy in the book. I think you would love it, lol.
Its gorgeous Heidi, it looks so delicate and pretty. Looking forward to seeing the over 1 and over 2 together when they are finished
Heidi, this looks beautiful! I'm looking forward to fall and the winter months too, we don't have snow but in my area we have lots of fog and I love it...I know it gets some folks down but not me. We're stitching Halloween now but there is a sweet PS Santa I'd like to do.
Looking forward to the finishes...hugs, Linda
