My first two blocks are together and I am starting on the third block already. My blocks from here on out are going to contain changes to the original pattern. I think it is great fun to make a quilt very personal and a quilt with stitchery is easy to adapt. I am already excited to share my changes next month but patience as all things in good time.
My second block was done as the pattern showed but I did more ribbon daisies and made button flowers.

It's was another fun evening.
And the creativity is blooming!!
So I can't wait till this evening... I want to start with the third block, and with the 'schimmel van Sinterklaas' crosstitch. Did some teadipping aida already last night before I went to bed.
About the log cabins around the cross stitch is 1 inch or less/more???

Wat was het weer mooi allemaal. Hoewel ik helemaal achter mijn kleurkeuze sta voelt het af en toe een beetje ongemakkelijk dat ik met mijn quilt zo uit de toon val bij die van jullie. Maar als ik hem hier naast me zie liggen wordt ik weer blij! Op naar blok 3.

Your quilt is just so lovely and the extra touches make it so sweet. I loved seeing all the blocks that your quilt group is making. They have all done a beautiful job and each is so original and unique. I especially love the bee and the button flowers on yours. Playing with buttons is so much fun and one of my favorite poems is about the family button box. It will be fun to see the progress all of you are making next month. :) Happy stitching!

Love those blocks Heidi - especially the colors! If you want company stitching With My Needle when you are ready let me know. Mine is kitted up and ready to start stitching but I too was holding off trying to work on some WIPS (but it is calling me...) It would be fun to share progress.
